Music is for everyone.

Kodály Method is part of the Sennheiser MOMENTUM project that Sennheiser has developed in collaboration with talented sound artists around the world. Let them inspire you – get involved.

“Music is for everyone”, Hungarian composer and music pedagogue of the 20th century Zoltán Kodály once said. Decades later, filmmaker duo Kodály Method, named after the artist’s music teaching method, still follows this philosophy. Director Bálint Szimler and cinematographer Marcell Rév are constantly on the lookout for Hungarian and international musical acts which are not in the limelight yet, but deserve to be right in the middle of it. The Kodály Method collective supports these musicians using their own artistic talents: by producing individual live-session music videos for them. Driven solely by their desire to bring talented musical acts one step closer to being seen and heard by the world, Balint and Marcell have never accepted any money for shooting the videos. Their artistic idealism led others to participate in the collective, contributing their own skills and talents to the videos and turning Kodály Method into an artistic movement that has individuals work together through the language of music.
